Cashier Accountant
Location: Addis Ababa – Megenagna, Figa Experience: 0–1 year Employment Type: Not specified Application Deadline: October 7, 2026
Qualifications
BSc degree or Diploma in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university or college. 0–1 year of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Record credit and cash sales in the company's system. Collect bank documents and record customer payments in the system. Prepare and issue cash receipt vouchers. Reconcile VAT balances between the system, cash register machine, and manual invoice summaries and report the results to the Senior Accountant (AR) daily. Follow up on customer credit balances and provide timely reports to the Senior Accountant (AR). Make payments to requesters according to the petty cash policy. Submit petty cash settlement documents to the Accounts Payable (AP) team on time. Request petty cash replenishment from the AP team in accordance with the petty cash policy. File and maintain financial documents. Perform customer account matching and lettering. Provide customers with the necessary documents in a timely manner. Prepare and submit reports requested by the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) teams. Assist with other finance activities and ad hoc assignments as required. Escalate urgent matters to management when necessary. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
