Job Overview
Digaf & Micro-Credit Provider SC is hiring for a Contact Center position in Addis Ababa. The role involves handling customer inquiries, providing information about financial products and services, resolving or escalating customer complaints, maintaining customer records, preparing call reports, and supporting customer service and collections activities.
The position is suitable for an entry-level or fresh graduate candidate with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong communication skills in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo .
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support
Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries professionally. Provide accurate information about the institution's financial products and services. Resolve customer complaints or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
Data Management and Reporting
Update customer information in the system after each call. Document customer feedback and report recurring issues to management. Prepare daily call reports and collection updates.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Follow call scripts, internal policies, and applicable regulatory guidelines. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer information. Follow appropriate escalation procedures for unresolved issues.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with collections and customer service teams to support smooth operations. Participate in training and performance improvement programs. Provide insights that can help improve customer engagement and collections effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field . 0–2 years of prior experience in a call center, customer service, or help desk role is an advantage. Basic knowledge of financial services, microfinance products, or customer care principles. Proficiency in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo , both verbal and written.
