Programme Officer EO – Human Capital Development Team
The British Embassy is recruiting Programme Officers to support its programme agenda. The Programme Officer will contribute to programme delivery and management, with particular responsibility for programme and financial management and engagement with external partners.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
A proactive and self-motivated approach. Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities with limited supervision. Ability to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple work streams. More than 3 years of proven experience in programme management, financial management, or another related field. Proficiency in English , both written and spoken. Proficiency in Amharic and/or other Ethiopian languages is an added advantage.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and develop. Experience engaging and influencing external partners. Experience managing suppliers. Experience working on development, health, or humanitarian programmes in Ethiopia.

Salary and Benefits
