Role Responsibilities
The Customer Service and Sales Officer will help deliver high-quality customer service and support the British Council's examination and sales operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide consistent and positive customer service in line with British Council standards and policies. Meet agreed monthly income and customer conversion targets. Coordinate with Exams team members to provide a seamless customer journey. Escalate unresolved customer complaints to the appropriate teams. Support examination services, including customer contact, registration, payment, and post-test activities. Carry out administrative duties assigned by management, including purchase orders, cash counting, customer communications, and bank-transfer processing.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Higher Diploma and/or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in customer service and sales. Good understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques. Customer-focused and sales-oriented approach. Self-motivated and results-driven attitude.
Desirable Qualifications
Customer Service Professional qualification. Sales-related qualification or training. Marketing and communications experience. Hands-on CRM software experience.
Additional Requirements
English language proficiency at B2 level . Applicants must already have the right to live and work in Ethiopia.
