II. Background of Organization Buusaa Gonofaa Micro finance (BG MFI) is a non-bank profit making financial institution licensed under Proclamation No 40/1996 and is supervised by the National Bank of Ethiopia. Currently BG want to fill the Branch Manager I vacant position with a suitable candidate. III. JOB SUMMARY The Branch Manager I is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service of branch office, including operations, lending, customer service, and security and safety of the staff and branch operation in accordance with the Buusaa Gonofaa (BG)’s objectives. He /She is also responsible to Provides leadership, training and supervision; delegates day to day operations to the customer service officer or other branch personnel. IV. Job Responsibility Manage daily branch operations, including loan disbursements, repayments, and savings transactions. Ensure delivery of transparent, client-focused, and timely financial services. Monitor loan portfolio performance and support actions to maintain acceptable PAR levels. Promote savings mobilization and ensure proper account management in compliance with regulations. Implement standardized procedures for client onboarding, loan processing, and record keeping. Ensure compliance with NBE directives, AML/KYC requirements, and internal controls. Supervise branch staff and support performance management and basic capacity building. Manage branch cash, assets, and facilities to ensure security and operational continuity. Prepare and submit routine branch operational and financial reports on time Support community outreach, client education, and adoption of institutional products and services. Performs other duties as assigned by the Direct Supervisor. Educational Qualification and Experience: MA/BA in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Cooperatives, or other related fields with four/six years of relevant work experiences Professional background in microfinance or banking operations. Academic preparation in financial services management and client relations. Education covering credit management and basic accounting… Relevant experience in microfinance or banking operations, preferably at the branch level. Proven experience working with operational reports, compliance requirements, and client services. Demonstrated experience in branch leadership, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance. Willingses to work in rural area. VI. Skill and Competence required: Microfinance Operations and Branch Procedures Credit and Savings Management AML/KYC and Regulatory Compliance Customer Service and Financial Literac Basic computer skills and good written and oral communication skills.
