Bilal Microfinance invites qualified and competent applicants for the following positions.

Bilal Microfinance Institution S.C. is a full-fledge interest free microfinance institution established based on the NBE Directive No. MFI/32/2021 to provide sharia compliant and inclusive microfinance services that provide access to the community excluded from financial services due to interest.

Position: Senior IT/MIS Officer

Required Qualification and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience for Master’s Degree holders or 5 years for Bachelor’s Degree holders, preferably in a microfinance institution, bank, or corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve daily technical issues related to hardware, software, and system installations across the institution.
  • Coordinate with telecom service providers and core banking vendors to resolve network problems, system downtime, and technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain, monitor, and support core banking workflows, user accounts, and system operations to ensure smooth daily transactions.
  • Provide technical assistance and branch support in a growing microfinance institution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address IT requests, system updates, and administrative issues.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure, network connectivity, and computer systems to ensure reliable operations.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Practical experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and installation.
  • Good understanding of core banking system support and workflow maintenance.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills when working with external telecom and software vendors.
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to provide hands-on technical support at branches.
  • Ability to work effectively in a growing team and handle technical issues under pressure.
  • High integrity and accountability.
