At-Con Engineering & Architecture Consultancy Plc. is seeking qualified Professionals with expertise to join our dynamic team. In the following position We are seeking qualified and experienced Five (5) Assistant Resident Engineers to lead and manage construction supervision activities on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is executed according to design, specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements. Position Title: Five (5) Assistant Resident Engineers (ARE) Location: Alala (Amhara Region), Abala (Afar Region), Omela (Harar Region), Diredawa and Gelemso (Hararge Zone Habro Woreda Gelemso Town) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 3 (Three) Years in a Consulting Role and Site Exposer Salary: Negotiable Application Deadline: September 30, 2026 G.C Key Responsibilities: Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising and monitoring day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract conditions, and applicable standards. Monitor the contractor’s work progress, workmanship, materials, and construction methods and report any issues to the Resident Engineer. Review and verify construction works, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and other technical documents. Assist in conducting site inspections, measurements, and verification of completed works for payment purposes. Assist in monitoring project progress against the approved work program and identify potential delays or risks. Support the preparation and review of interim payment certificates, variation orders, claims, and other contract administration documents. Place of Assignment: Alala (Amhara Region), Abala (Afar Region), Omela (Harar Region), Diredawa and Gelemso (Hararge Zone Habro Woreda Gelemso Town) About You Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Strong knowledge of building codes, engineering standards, and construction methodologies. Experience with contract administration (knowledge of FIDIC is an added advantage). Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
