Role description
Addis Bank S.C wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions. AdB is established by diversified groups of shareholders, Cooperatives, Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Iddirs, other business organizations and individual citizens.
The Cooperatives are mainly engaged in the provision of financial services, export business, manufacturing and services. The members of the major shareholders are mainly low and middle income citizens.
Position 1: Senior Customer Service Officer I – Accounts/Cash
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience.
- At least 1 year of experience at officer level or an equivalent position.
Required Skills
- Interest-Free Banking operations and Sharia compliance.
- Customer service and relationship management.
- Banking transaction accuracy, internal controls, and risk management.
Job Grade: VIII
Duty Station: Dessie.
Position 2: Branch Manager I – IFB Branch
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant Interest-Free Banking (IFB) experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or equivalent position.
Required Skills
- Interest-Free Banking operations and Sharia compliance.
- Business development, deposit mobilization, and financial performance management.
- Leadership, staff supervision, and operational risk management.
Job Grade: XII
Duty Station: Dessie.
Position 3: Branch Manager I
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or equivalent position.
Required Skills
- Branch operations, banking services, and financial management.
- Leadership, team management, and customer relationship management.
- Loan administration, transaction supervision, and operational reporting.
Job Grade: XII
Duty Station: Addis Ababa and Welete.
Position 4: Branch Manager I – Welete
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or equivalent position.
Required Skills
- Business development and deposit mobilization.
- Branch performance management and achievement of business targets.
- Customer relationship management and banking operations.

Duty Station: Welete.
Salary: As per the Bank’s salary scale.
