Role description

Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital (ASRGH) was constructed in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia in 2017 in an echo of the “Belt and Road Initiative” by AFEI Holding.

This 14 story, new state-of-the-art hospital is committed to enhance China-Africa unbreakable friendship and strengthen innovation and practice to improve healthcare in Africa. This new facility is designed for two specific groups: patients and their families and the healthcare professionals.

Position 1: Pulmonologist

Educational Qualification & Work Experience:

Minimum of 2 years and above of clinical experience in pulmonology or respiratory medicine (varies by employer and seniority level).
Experience in managing inpatient and outpatient respiratory cases, including ICU and emergency settings.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic and interventional pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and thoracentesis (preferred or required depending on role).
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams within hospital or clinical environments.
Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or supervising junior medical staff is an advantage.
Exposure to clinical research, audits, or academic publications in pulmonary medicine is desirable.

Salary

As per the company Scale/ with negotiation.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Nephrologist

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution.
Specialty certification in Nephrology from a recognized training institution.
Valid professional license to practice medicine in Ethiopia.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a practicing Nephrologist is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
