Role description
Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.

Position 1: Administrative Assistant
Education/Qualification:
– BA Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or Administrative Service Management.
Experience:
- BA Degree holders: 2 years of related work experience.
- Diploma holders: 4 years of related work experience.

Position 2: BMS Specialist
Education/Qualification:
– B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering (System Control, Automation, Computer stream) or a related field of study.
Experience:
– Minimum 4 years of experience operating and programming active Building Management Systems (BMS).
Additional Requirements:
– Proven experience in automation control loops, Direct Digital Controllers (DDC), smart sensor calibration, instrumentation, and network-based system administration.

Position 3: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Education/Qualification:
– M.Sc. or B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study.
Experience:
- M.Sc. holders: 5 years of experience in high-rise mechanical facility services.
- B.Sc. holders: 7 years of experience in high-rise mechanical facility services.
Additional Requirements:
- Direct experience managing central HVAC systems, including chillers, VRF networks, and air handling units.
- Experience with vertical transportation systems, including high-speed elevators and escalators.
- Experience with specialized high-pressure firefighting and suppression systems, water pumps, and related equipment.

Position 4: Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Control Stream
Education/Qualification:
– M.Sc. or B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Control stream) or a related field of study.
Experience:
- M.Sc. holders: 5 years of experience managing high-rise building electrical power distribution.
- B.Sc. holders: 7 years of experience managing high-rise building electrical power distribution.
Additional Requirements:
– Practical experience with medium/low-voltage (MV/LV) main distribution boards, synchronized power systems, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), backup diesel generators, bus bars, and related works.

Position 5: Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Technician
Education/Qualification:
– Diploma/TVET Level IV in Mechanical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Machine Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience:
– Minimum 4 years of experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in high-rise buildings.
Additional Requirements:
- Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical equipment, including HVAC components, high-pressure pumps, and standby generators.
- Experience in mechanical equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Position 6: Plumbing & Sanitary Technician
Education/Qualification:
– Diploma/TVET Level IV in Plumbing & Sanitary or a related field.
Experience:
– Minimum 4 years of experience maintaining plumbing and sanitary, drainage, and water-supply installations.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with high-pressure booster pump stations, drainage/waste stacks, roof water reservoir assets, and deep isolation valve maps.
- Ability to quickly diagnose, locate, and repair plumbing and sanitary failures inside buildings.

Education/Qualification:
– Diploma/TVET Level IV in Electricity, Building Electrical Installation (BEI), or a related field.
Experience:
– Minimum 4 years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician in high-rise buildings.
Additional Requirements:
- Expertise in Building Electrical Installation (BEI), reading complex wiring plans, troubleshooting floor distribution boards, and maintaining internal lighting control modules.
- Ability to quickly diagnose, locate, and repair electrical breakdowns or failures inside buildings.
