Role description
Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.
The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors.
Position 1: Human Capital Management Officer
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field of study.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in human resource management.

- Head Office
Position 2: Branch Manager – Grade I
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field of study.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in banking operations.
- At least 2 years of the required experience must be in a supervisory position.

- Branches in Harar City
Position 3: District Manager-II
Education Requirement
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field of study.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum of 10 years of banking professional experience for Master’s Degree holders, or 12 years for Bachelor’s Degree holders.
- At least 6 years of the required experience must be in a managerial position.
