Candidate Guidance: How to Prepare for a Government Contract Vacancy

Government vacancies follow a formal process, so careful preparation helps you avoid rejection at the registration desk. Use these steps:

Choose the right level: For the Health and Safety post, apply for the level that matches your years of experience (0, 3, 6, or 9 years), because pay changes with each level.
Bring originals and copies: The registration officer will check your original documents and keep the photocopies, so carry both for your degree or diploma, COC certificate, driving license, and experience letters.

Check your driving license grade: The Driver I post requires a Grade 3 license, so confirm that your license is valid and matches the requirement.
Match your field of study: The Assistant Cashier post lists specific accounting and finance fields, so make sure your certificate title appears in that list.
Prepare a clean CV: Attach a filled-in CV to your application letter, and keep it short, accurate, and consistent with your documents.

Register early: The window is limited to 10 working days, so go as early as possible and avoid the final-day crowd.
Understand the contract: These are one-year contract posts, so ask about renewal terms and benefits at registration if you are unsure.
