📋 Official Responsibilities (ToR)

As the central focal point for machinery operations, your day-to-day duties will involve:

Fleet Administration & Asset Control

Maintain an accurate, centralized database of all machinery, including serial numbers, current locations, and ownership documents.
Conduct physical asset verification periodically to reconcile the actual equipment on the ground with the fixed asset records.
Track expiry dates for insurance, annual inspections, and operating licenses, ensuring all statutory renewals are completed on time.

Deployment & Rental Operations

Dispatch heavy equipment to internal construction sites, the HCB production plant, or external rental clients based on daily priority schedules.
Track idle machinery and calculate utilization rates to help the company maximize its return on investment.
Manage the dispatch schedules and return records for rental contracts to ensure the Finance department can bill clients accurately and on time.

Maintenance & Performance Tracking

Align with the Maintenance team to schedule preventive servicing without causing major disruptions to ongoing construction projects.
Monitor fuel consumption, operating hours, and frequent breakdown patterns to identify underperforming assets.
Coordinate with the Procurement division to ensure fast-moving spare parts and consumables are always in stock.

Education & Technical Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Experience Requirement: You must have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience specifically dealing with equipment administration, fleet management, or heavy machinery logistics.
Industry Background: Direct work experience at a construction firm, machinery rental business, or heavy industrial plant is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: You need to be very comfortable using Microsoft Excel for tracking, and prior experience with ERP or fleet management software is a major plus.
Certifications: Holding a professional certification in Asset Management or Fleet Management will put you ahead of other candidates.
