Position Overview
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of students through effective communication, personalized learning, and fostering positive relationships. This position requires a commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students, promoting inclusive practices, and contributing to the overall success of the learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Building Relationships with Students:
Facilitate effective communication, language development, creativity, and investigation. Support students with disabilities, special educational needs (SEN), and diverse backgrounds with respect, fairness, and sensitivity.
Teaching and Learning Support:
Understand lesson objectives, adapt activities for individual SEN students, and motivate learners during teacher-directed lessons.
Assessment and Monitoring:
Use assessment strategies to track student progress, respond to individual needs, and report performance trends to the teaching staff.
Curriculum & Resources:
Develop subject knowledge, create learning materials, and organize curriculum and ICT resources to enhance literacy and numeracy skills.
Classroom Environment:
Maintain a safe, purposeful, and inclusive learning space while promoting positive student behaviour and accountability.
Safeguarding and Well-being:
Strictly follow child protection laws, recognize student safeguarding vulnerabilities, and immediately report child welfare concerns.
Collaboration:
Build strong professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to remove communication barriers and foster teamwork.

Person Specification & Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Teaching, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or classroom aid role.
Fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
Desirable Attributes:
Previous experience working in an international school or multicultural educational setting.
Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet strict deadlines
