Global Insurance Company (S.C.) (GIC) is a private insurance company that was established in March 1997 by 23 founding shareholders, with a paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million.

The company began its operations with fewer than 25 employees and now has a total of 224 employees.
In addition to its core business of general insurance, the company also offers modern vehicle inspection services.

Position 1: Jr.

Secretary/Cashier  
Education: Diploma  
Field of Study: Accounting or Social Science and Other Management (SSOM)  
Relevant Experience: Not required  
Salary and Benefits: As per the company's scale and benefit package  
Duty Station: A.A.

Position 2: Branch Manager I  

Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc)
Field of Study: Management, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields  
Relevant Experience: 4 years as Senior Underwriting Officer or 1 year as Branch Manager  
Salary and Benefits: As per the company's scale and benefit package  
Duty Station: A.A.

Position 3: Finance and Investment Department Manager  

Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA)  
Field of Study: Accounting  
Relevant Experience: 10 years, of which 3 years in a managerial position  
Additional Skill: Insurance accounting and IFRS reporting
